Douglas D. Derscheid

Mr. Derscheid is the Chief Executive Officer of Central Valley Ag Cooperative in O’Neill, Nebraska.  D. Derscheid began his career in 1970, managing cooperatives.  In 1992, Mr. Derscheid moved to O’Neill, Nebraska to manage Central Valley Cooperative which through several unifications became Central Valley Ag Cooperative in 2003. 

Today CVA operates in 40 communities in north central and north east Nebraska, with 365 full-time employees and has sales of $629.0 million.  Doug served 8 years in the Iowa Army National Guard in the 1970‘s.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Cooperative Mutual Insurance Company in Omaha, Nebraska, Past Board member FCStone Group Inc. in Kansas City, MO, and serves on the O’Neill Airport Authority Board.  Mr. Derscheid has been a member of the Austin Board of Directors since 2010.
